Celebrating Europe Day: Embracing Opportunities and Gratitude

Today, the OMNIS Project celebrates cross-border cooperation between Italy and Croatia. Interreg is a key European Union instrument that strengthens cooperation between regions and countries within the EU. Thanks to the Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme, the European Union is giving us the opportunity to empower tourism stakeholders to create accessible experiences for pet-friendly and visually impaired travelers. Partners are working hard to conclude the activities outlined by the project, particularly the exchange visits. From the 17^th to the 19^th of May, a panel of Italian tourists will visit Split, while from the 25th to the 27th of June, a panel of Croatian tourists will be in Cagli. These visits are intended to test and validate the OMNIS project itineraries and packages. Stay tuned for updates, and cheers to the European Union, unity, diversity, and collaboration on this special day!

The project "OMNIS - Co-creation of Inclusive Sustainable Tourism Itineraries and Packages from Coastal to Inner Areas" is co-financed by the Interreg VI Italy-Croatia Programme 2021-2027 (cross-border cooperation programme).

The overall objective of the project is to lay the foundations for fruitful cooperation between tourism stakeholders of coastal and inner areas of Italy and Croatia by creating and distributing inclusive sustainable digitalised tourism itineraries and connected packages for tourists that travel with pets focusing on those with guide dogs fostering sustainable economic development and social inclusion in local communities.
