OMNIS Project Inspires Students of Ca' Foscari University

The European Project OMNIS, funded by the European Union through the Interreg Italy-Croatia program, was presented on Friday, December 1st, to 23 students at Ca' Foscari University in Venice during the Bachelor's degree program in Hospitality, Innovation, and E-Tourism.

The OMNIS partnership, thanks to collaboration of Marco Cocciarini with the project partner Risposte Turismo, presented the project and its objectives to the students, with a special focus on the opportunities that can arise in the hospitality sector from welcoming this market niche which in 2023 can count out of approximately 30 million visually impaired subjects in Europe and 285 million worldwide.

The presentation gave the students the opportunity to learn more about some dynamics of this type of market, understand the status quo of the current hospitality offer in the project areas and to begin to understand the needs of this niche to create travel opportunities more and more inclusive and sustainable.
